To get some perspective on next year's ride, here is what I rode in all of 2017: 124 days on the bike with 3046 miles pedaled. For the Coast to Coast (C2C) ride, we will be on the road for 52 days with 45 active days of cycling. We will ride a total of 2872 miles. That's almost all the miles I rode in 2017, in about 1/3 of the days, in just under two months. In 2017, my longest ride was 77.35 miles (100 miles in 2016). In comparison, we will have nine days of 77 miles or more. The average distance for my 124 cycling days in 2017 was 24.4 miles - the average for the C2C ride will be 63.8 miles. I'm hoping for a tailwind as much as possible!
