Day 14 - Rodeo to Columbus, NM

Today was the longest riding day of the trip.  We rode, and rode and rode.  It was very cold at the start of the day and I decided at the last minute to skip the winter riding gloves. That was a mistake for the first 10 miles.  Then I warmed up and it was ok. Slowly layers were peeled off as the sun started to warm us up.  No bicycle issues today.  Yay!  The scenery was consistent without many changes. Mountains on both sides of the road for most of the day. It was a good day for a long ride. Dinner today was provided by the school cafeteria (Columbus) in which we are spending the night.  It was a Thanksgiving feast and was delicious, especially after riding over 92 miles.  To make the day end on a different high note, the Spartans won!  Go Green and Go Big Ten!
