To say that I am anxious and nervous would be a severe understatement. Tomorrow Janet and I fly out to San Diego to begin our adventure. Several other riders have been posting and sending emails about their excitement as well.
The clothing is tagged, bike spare parts, sleeping bag, suntan lotion, and other necessities are packed and ready for the trip to the airport. Two bags to check and one to carry on: one full of clothes, one full of bike/sleeping gear and one with computer, bike shoes/helmet. Have I said how excited I am?! Now, I just need to find a way to fall asleep tonight!!
